I am Gift Edafe, a civil engineer and surveyor with professional experience across engineering, geospatial practice, construction management, quality assurance and integrated project delivery. I serve as Chief Executive Officer of Jiro-BEACONS Engineering Nigeria Limited.
My work focuses on leading Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) teams through project planning, site mobilisation, construction execution and technical assurance. I coordinate professional expertise, support site operations, oversee practical construction activities and promote compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.
Through Jiro-BEACONS, I lead an integrated approach to infrastructure delivery, bringing together surveying, architecture, engineering, quantity surveying, construction and project management capabilities.
I believe successful infrastructure delivery must extend beyond physical completion. It requires sound engineering, effective site execution, verified quality and proper commissioning. It must also leave behind a complete Digital Engineering Package (DEP) containing structured technical records, as-built information, geospatial data and intelligent asset information to support future operations and lifecycle management.
